New system from MARK Hawk self rescue system or rescuing crane operators or service technicians from erected cranes. It is so simple and safe to set up and use that a stranded person can even free himself from the jib or counter jib of a crane if, for example, a fire or other complication is preventing normal descent. Naturally, injured people can also be rescued very quickly and safely. With the appropriate of rope, this sytem can be used to rescue people from heights of up to 300m. This system proved very impressive during tests carried out in collaboration with MARK Save A Life on a crane in Bierach. LIENHERR-WERK BIBERACH GMBH rececommend that owner of cranes to provide your technicians and crane operators with such a sytem for emergency use.
The descender device MARK Hawk is a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) against falls from a height and has been designed for use in combination with PPE according to EN 361, EN 1497, EN 1498, EN 795 and EN 362.
MARK Hawk is certified according to EN 341 and has been tested by TÜV Süd.
MARK Hawk has been designed especially for professionals such as fire services, height rescue workers, industrial climbers etc.
MARK Hawk used for Crane Tower Rescue System. It is a descender device with 2 eye bolts being supplied as standard with the MK mobile crane series in the crane driver's cab, in the event of it proving impossible for the cab to be moved away.
If unused and in its original packing, the Rescue Lift can remain ready for use for 10 years and requires no maintenance.
For top-slewing cranes we have up to now offered the MARK Hawk as an option on the price list, Ident-No. 9343 07401, which consists of the following components:
� Rescue device MARK Hawk with cable for 100 m abseil height (also available up to a maximum of 300 m) and up to a maximum body weight of 150 kg
� Loop slings for securing to the fixed point
� Rescue overalls
� Storage cabinet for the components referred to above, for securing in the crane driver's cab.
If an emergency arises, there will always be a Rescue Lift available in the crane driver's cab.
